Dental Coverage

BestBenefit plans include the coverage for periodontal disease! Your dog or cat must meet the following conditions:

  • At the time you enroll, your pets must be free from all dental disease.
  • Pre-existing periodontal disease is not eligible for Pets Best overage.
  • There is no teeth cleaning requirements for pets ages 0 to age 2, in order to have the periodontal coverage.
  • Pets Best will verify with your vet that a teeth cleaning was completed in the previous 13 months under general anesthesia for your pets aged 3+.
  • As long as that teeth cleaning comes through with no signs or symptoms of periodontal disease, your pet will have coverage if periodontal disease develops.
