Most people have no idea how little pet health insurance cost. It's only around $25 per month, and if you do the standard 'Starbuck's latte' comparison, that turns out to be pretty affordable and so worth it. For example, research shows that 1 in 3 pets will need urgent vet care this year and every 6 seconds an owner is given a vet bill of more than $1,000. That could be an untimely financial burden and heart-breaking to imagine turning down crucial treatment for your loved one due to financial constraints. Pet insurance takes the financial anxiety out of the overall stress-producing situation you can find yourself in when your dog suddenly becomes ill or an accident occurs.

No age discrimination when it comes to the unexpected.

As dogs age, hereditary and congenital conditions may affect your dog's health, and treatments for these conditions can be expensive. Dogs of all ages are susceptible to these conditions. What impressed us is that you can enroll your faithful friend with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance up until their 14th birthday. They will never drop your pet or decrease coverage due to any age or claims. Rest assured that even as a senior citizen, your dog is covered for the lifetime of their policy.

Is Pet Insurance Worth It?

There are hundreds of illnesses that could affect your baby, and you never know when there is going to be some unforeseen accident, so better safe then sorry. If your dog or cat gets injured unexpectedly or falls ill, pet insurance can truly save you thousands of dollars. For as little as $25/month for dogs and $15/month for kitties, you can have peace of mind. Having pet medical insurance can help you feel comfortable and be able to say yes to life-saving medical treatments for your loved one might need.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance coverage has no caps on payouts.

Healthy Paws covers your pooch from head to paw. The Healthy Paws Pet Insurance plan is our #1 pick because it pays on your actual veterinary bill and covers new injuries and illnesses, emergencies, genetic conditions and much more.

If your dog or puppy needs treatment for a new accident or illness (except pre-existing conditions), you're covered. It's that simple!

Save up to 90% on vet bills, with no caps on per-incident, annual, or lifetime payouts.

A pre-existing condition means that the condition first occurred or showed clinical signs or symptoms (there doesn't need to be a diagnosis) before your dog's coverage started, including waiting periods. Healthy Paws excludes pre-existing conditions from coverage as do all pet insurance companies.

Healthy Paws is all about protecting your dog from the unexpected and you from the financial problems their treatment may cause. Their dog insurance plan doesn't cover pre-existing conditions, the examination fee, or preventative care, such as annual check-ups, vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures and teeth cleaning.

Will Pet Insurance Save Me Money?

Absolutely yes! If you've ever had a major medical bill for a pet, then you know. If your dog or cat is seriously injured or develops a chronic illness, the vet bill can be astronomical. Even the most responsible pet parents may not be prepared for emergency procedures like a foreign object removal, which can cost upwards of $5,000, or a torn ACL that comes with a similar price tag.
